Abbie works alongside the VCSE Alliance to strengthen it as a collective voice, while also reaching out to quieter, less visible or less confident organisations. 

A key part of the role is listening to community organisations, understanding what helps or restricts their involvement, and identifying where current systems, processes or ways of working unintentionally makes things harder.

The VCSE Enabler actively tests what works best for smaller grassroots and informal organisations, using learning to shape more accessible and inclusive engagement, communication and system approaches.
