On arrival;

  • Come to the Reception doors at the front of The Glebe

  • You will see a list on the door of different organisations, next to a button-operated intercom. 

  • Press the button for the organisation you require and the person answering your call will open the door for you

  • Please take a seat in the reception area and wait to be met

  

​​Members of the CVS team and the projects are often on external visits or engaged in meetings so if you have not arranged a meet-up with a team member in advance, please try and call first to make sure someone is able to see you and save a wasted journey.

How to get here;

By Car

From Shrewsbury and the west (A5):

​

  • Take B5061 slip road to Wellington/A5

  • Turn left on to Holyhead Road/B5061

  • In about 1 mile turn left on to Wrekin Road at The Wickets pub

  • Go straight across first mini roundabout

  • At next roundabout, turn right on to Victoria Road

  • At next roundabout, turn right on to Glebe Street

  • The Glebe Centre car park entrance is immediately on the left

From Telford and the east (M54):

​

  • At Junction 6 take the A5223 exit to A442/Telford (West) and Whitchurch

  • At the roundabout take 3rd exit on to Whitchurch Drive/A5223

  • Wrekin Retail Park will be on your left - continue straight down Whitchurch Drive

  • At next roundabout take first exit on to Bennetts Bank/B5061 signposted Wellington

  • Go through two sets of lights and then at next set of lights get into right lane and turn right on to Mill Bank

  • Continue until next mini roundabout - turn first left into Glebe Street

  • The Glebe Centre car park entrance will be on your right just before next roundabout

Should The Glebe car park be full, there are various free car parks in the immediate surrounding area.  Please ensure you give yourself enough time to park on arrival.

There are disabled spaces on The Glebe Centre car park.  Please call reception on 01952 916035 to tell us when you plan to arrive, to advise on availability.

By Bus

From Wellington bus station (easy walking distance):

  • Turn right out of the bus station on to Victoria Road 

  • The Glebe Centre is about 500 m on the left hand side before next roundabout

The No 7 Bus runs every half hour (Mon-Fri) from Telford Town Centre

The No 81 Bus runs from Shrewsbury to Telford and back via Wellington

From Wellington railway station (easy walking distance):

  • Exit the station along Station Road 

  • Turn left on to Church Street

  • Walk towards town centre and turn left on to pedestrianised street (by Greggs)

  • Walk up the street right to the top and cross the pedestrian crossing

  • Turn right and The Glebe Centre is on your left after about 50m

By Rail
